Mia Sabel (of SABEL Saddlery) has now been awarded the title “Qualified Saddler” by The Society of Master Saddlers.

This was the culmination of 2 years full-time Saddlery training at Capel Manor College in Enfield, completion of Level 3 final exams in Saddlery and Bridle, and a further 2 years experience of saddlery and leather design. 

After changing careers just five years ago Mia is delighted with this public endorsement of her traditional skills and the quality of leather work that she produces.

Mia’s qualification would not have been possible without financial support from The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) who provided funding towards the completion of her final exams. Additional thanks are also extended to Mark Romain from Saddlery Training Centre in Salisbury who provided her such excellent training.
