A three week evening course in which you’ll learn to make a leather tool pouch for your own beloved tools or stationery. We will teach you the very basics of traditional saddlery, including leather preparation, hand-cutting, double hand-stitching and hand-burnishing. Over the course of the 3 evenings, you’ll test out these techniques, preparing, cutting, stitch-marking and hand-stitching to create your own tool pouch, with the optional branded Blackhorse Workshop logo.
This course is perfect for anyone interested in learning to working with leather, and after the course, we will provide you with a list of suppliers, further training courses and the basic equipment you’ll need to get you started.
Suitable for those who have already completed our Introductory Leatherwork course or have prior experience of leather hand-stitching. And a perfect New Year resolution or gift!
If you haven’t done any hand-stitching before, you will need to join our Introductory Course on 23 Jan 2018.
