Sabel Saddlery is a leather design service set-up by Mia Sabel, a fully qualified saddler, which provides a wide range of made-to-measure belts, watch straps, pet collars, stationary and accessories. Using English bridle leather, Mia hand-crafts all of the leather products ensuring that they are finished to the highest standard. Mia has also received a QEST (The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust) scholarship which supports talented craftsmen to further develop their skills through working with masters of their craft.

Ian Maclean, Managing Director of John Smedley, recently commissioned Mia Sabel of www.sabelsaddlery.co.uk to make a made-to-measure watch strap for his Heuer watch. The strap, which includes a military style cuff, is made from mid brown pull up leather and stitched in moss green linen thread. The bespoke fitting means that the strap will last for a very long time. Ian is very pleased to support QEST and the work done by the country’s top craftsmen such as Mia Sabel.
