“We’ve been working with local craftspeople and fair trade suppliers’ to broaden the range of tempting buys at the Hunting Lodge and Visitor Centre. As well as traditional pocket money toys for children, we’ve some hand-crafted goods selling for well under £20 to encourage a little adult indulgence too.
Enjoy the feel – and smell – of good solid leather. We are now stocking local craftswoman Mia Sabel’s keyrings, artists’ notebooks and other stationery. Mia retrained as a traditional saddler on a prestigious QEST (Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust) scholarship and both lives locally and rides in Epping Forest. She has created an exclusive range stamped with an Epping Forest oak leaf in honour of our fantastic oak pollards.”
