QEST EXCEL
Spring 2011
QEST at Duke of York Square
“QEST and The Royal Warrant Holders Association joined together to create a Christmas Market in the Duke of York Square on London’s Kings Road in early December.
Stalls were housed in traditional alpine cabins giving an authentic feel. Fourteen QEST scholars exhibited their crafts including Andrian Melka’s intricate stone carving, Bethan Lloyd Worthington’s new range of High Tea jewellery (right) and Mia Sabel’s bespoke leather designs.
As choirs sang Christmas carols, gifts were purchased and commissions were placed ranging from Katherine Howlett’s house portraits to Rebecca Harvey’s exquisite porcelain and James Hamill took early reservations for his next bee keeping course in May 2011.”
